I Can’t Take It

I’ve had the House debate on impeachment running for about 15 minutes and I am so mad I can’t believe it. I literally just heard a republican say that when the nazi fascist incited the riot he didn’t mean it. The rioters weren’t supposed to take him seriously.

Republican after republican saying he didn’t do anything wrong when he kicked off an armed attack on the Capitol building which killed five people. I honestly cannot take it anymore. The apologists are utterly infuriating. It’s unforgivable. The collaborators need to be removed from Congress.

Got Him

ABC News is reporting right now that the guy who wore the Camp Auschwitz sweatshirt to the coup d’état at the Capitol building last week has been arrested. I didn’t catch his name, and I probably wouldn’t post it anyway without a second source, but this piece of shit was the one I was most wanting to see in jail.

This slime needs to go away for a long time. He needs to be removed from civilized society.

Assuming they got the right guy, I tip my hat to law enforcement.

Happy Impeachment Day

I still want to come up with a word to use for a second impeachment. Repeach is my first attempt and it’s the best I’ve come up with so far (I searched for it on twitter and as with all creative things I attempt it was not original) but I’m really not feeling it. I also thought to treat it as a movie title and called it Impeachment II: The Repeachening. That’s better, but it’s… kinda… long.

The plan as we know it is to hold the vote to impeach the fascist terrorist cheeto today. I don’t know when. I don’t know how much debate there will be. I’m sure there will be some, but the evidence in this case is so obvious how much debate will they need? I mean, every one of them was there when it happened, and the instigation happened on television. How much more discussion do you need?

I read last night that the first draft of the articles of impeachment was actually written by three Congressmen as they were hiding in someone’s office during the attack. Removing that scum bag from office would be a tiny bit of poetic justice in this case.

Let’s have the vote right now. Remove him and throw his terrorist ass in jail. Done and done.

Still Waiting

I haven’t heard anything from the House of Representatives today. The expectation was they were going to be debating something about the 25th Amendment. Can the Congress force Pence’s cowardly hand? I don’t know. They can vote on whether or not to impeach the terrorist in chief, but it sounded like they were waiting until tomorrow for that.

Why are they waiting? Every minute cheeto remains in power is one minute closer to a catastrophe. Remove the fascist terrorist now. Get him out of there. Stop putzing around and DO SOMETHING. He orchestrated an armed assault on the US Capitol building. He needs to be in jail and he needs to be there six fucking days ago.

It’s so freakin’ frustrating. It’s like the entire Congress wasn’t paying attention when the mob stormed their chambers. What the ever loving fuck?

I can’t even distract myself with hockey yet. The NHL opens up tomorrow and the Bruins open up on Thursday. I thought we would have a new, temporary president by then, but nope. Terrorists are only punished when they pray to the wrong version of god. That’s the precedent the US Federal government is setting right now. Nice job, folks. Let the evil run free. Good work.

On the up side, I coded a custom utility today. I usually let my staff handle tasks like that, but it’s been so long since I’ve done it I felt the need to make sure I still know how. I do. At least until it gets to peer review and the reviewer skewers it. That’s gonna happen. Until then, good boy, robbie.

Now REMOVE THE GOD DAMNED TERRORIST. Pretty please.

I’ve got the COVID/coup blues tonight. I’m not sure what set it off, apart from the obvious, but I’m just feeling more depressed than usual.

Normally when I feel like this I play guitar and I feel better. It didn’t work tonight. I think I feel worse.

Removing Cheeto McClownshoes might help. A vaccine might help too.

I really hate COVID. I really hate trump.

Dream Come True or Hack

About an hour ago the State Department website’s presidential biography page for Cheeto McClownshoes was updated saying his term ended on January 11, 2021 at 19:49. Assuming that is Eastern Time and not UTC, it means that his term ended at 7:49 PM… five hours after the page was updated.

Check out that screen shot from one of the many twitter posts I saw that reported the page.

Unfortunately, that page is now down with the message, “We’re sorry, this site is currently experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again in a few moments.”

So what does it mean? There are three possible things that I can think of.

  • The site was hacked and someone with a bad sense of humor decided to get us all excited just to watch our hearts break when Cheeto fails to resign.
  • Someone on the State Department’s IT staff has had enough and just did it as a big giant fuck you to society.
  • Cheeto McClownface is going to resign tonight and it leaked.

I’m betting it’s the first scenario. Some jerk is trying to get our hopes up only to see them dashed in a few hours.

I am so embarrassed. What a mess we’ve made of our country.

Volume Four… and Five

So the United States is crumbling all around us. The president was impeached 11 months ago and guess what! He’s likely going to be impeached again either today or tomorrow, depending on whether or not the vice president grows a set of balls and removes him from office via the 25th amendment. Life is pretty strange here in the good ol’ USA.

So here we are, trying to go about our normal day to day as our little baby 245 year old nation implodes. What’s a red head to do to keep from just screaming 24/7?

Well, he works on The Great 2015 Re-Recording Project, of course. Also, he pretends to work on a January album in a month. I’ve done almost nothing on that one. Just a couple of little bass riffs. I need to get back onto that but I have a ton of work still to do on volume four of the re-recordings. For some dumb reason my plan to redo old songs in batches of eight has turned into a batch of 14. Oops. One of those songs is done, eight more have the vocals done and are ready for lead guitar. Two of those eight will need to have the rhythm guitars done over. I used some effects that I thought were cool at the time, but now listening back they were mistakes. After that, there are still five songs waiting to start.

So I’m calling it. The nine songs underway are now the total of volume four, and the remaining five will be the start of volume five. I’ll dig through the piles of awful songs and pull three more for a total of eight, and then I’ll wait until after RPM in February to work on them. This is the way. I have spoken.

Now, back to the source of stress that sits on top of the mountain of stress that is Covid-19… will Pence do his fucking job today or will he let trump get away with LITERALLY SENDING HIS CULT TO ASSASSINATE HIM. Do your job, Mikey boy. Cut the crap and grow a pair. Then Nancy can impeach the prick at her leisure. There are only nine days left in Cheeto McClownshoes’ term and nine days is too long to wait. He and the cult cannot get away with this. No unity without repercussions. This is the way. The people have spoken.

Car Music Tomorrow

I promised myself I’d do some singing in the car this morning before the cleaning and de-christmasing started.

I didn’t.

Now I am promising myself I’ll do some singing in the car before the cleaning re-commences in the morning. You heard it here first and unlike the terrorist who attacked the US Capital this week and now today are blaming it on antifa, including the clowns saying they just followed antifa into the building so they could use the bathroom, I am not taking fantasies out of my ass.

The fact that cheeto McClownshoes hasn’t been removed from office yet is insulting beyond words. He instigates a terrorist attack on the federal government and there are no consequences. Osama Bin Laden must be really jealous right now, assuming he gets internet from his grave at the bottom of the sea.

Car music in the morning. 25th amendment in the afternoon. Impeachment on Monday. Do your fucking jobs. Remove the head of the terrorist cult from power. Now.

Also, antifa is not an organization. I know this for a fact. How do I know this for a fact? I know this for a fact because if antifa were an actual organization I would be a member. Q.E.Fucking.D.
