Congressman, how do you know that this bill isn’t going to destroy the lives of millions of people seeing as there was no analysis done on it by any economic or medical groups at all and there is zero evidence to show that anything it says will even come close to doing anything it’s supposed to?

During a town hall meeting one of his constituents happened to mention that people will die without health insurance.  He responded by saying that no one dies from not having access to healthcare.

This friggin’ schmuck actually said that.  You alt-right fascist apologists can’t call this one fake news because it’s right there on video.  I heard it with my own ears.  This guy said the single dumbest thing I have ever heard a politician utter.  No one dies from not having access to healthcare.

Tell me, Congressman Labrador, you insulting piece of shit, what would happen to my step son if he didn’t have access to healthcare?  He’s a type one diabetic and needs insulin to live.  What would happen to him?

Tell me, Congressman Labrador, you mental midget, what would have happened to my mother if, when she developed a brain tumor, she had not had access to the healthcare that saved her life?  Tell me, you fucking tool.  Tell me what would have happened to her.

Voters in Idaho.  Come the mid-term election, you know what to do.  Kick this despicable schmuck out of office.  Send his moron ass packing.  We’re counting on you.

Trump is a Fascist Idiot – 3/24/17 Edition

Donny Cheeto Fascist and Paul Vichy France Ryan got their political asses kicked today and I am loving every second of it.  It was beautiful.  The look on Vichy Paul’s face  as he told the nation that the great billionaire’s tax break bill that most people are calling the trumpcare healthcare bill (is “care” the right word considering 24 million or so people would lose their coverage?) didn’t have enough votes to pass so they pulled it from the House session!

Glorious!

Now I understand that the fascists and their collaborators have control of the white house, the house, and the senate and that eventually they will destroy the entire United States population.  That doesn’t matter today.  Right now… today… The fascists have failed.  They were the losers we know and hate, through and through.

Trump is a Fascist Idiot – 3/18/17 Edition

So rather than back down from the wiretapping bullshit unfounded false accusations this moron made against Obama a couple of weeks ago, he actually pulled other countries into the discussion.

Want to know what this is?  This is one of those movies were the 10 year old kid tells a lie to get out of something silly and then compounds the little lie with a bigger lie and a bigger lie until he ends up getting grounded for a decade because one of this relatives died or something and we all feel better because the kid learned a valuable lesson.  That’s exactly what this story is.  It’s the fascist spray tanned cheeto prick who cried wolf.

Except there is no valuable lesson to be learned in this case because half the friggin country believes this fascist piece of shit is telling god’s truth.  Every time I think we have the orange idiot over a barrel I have to stop and realize that HALF THE COUNTRY SUPPORTS HIM.  We are not a democracy with a fascist president, we are a country that is half fascist with a fascist president.

The mid term election is our only hope of getting out of this shit hole we have dug ourselves into.  It’s like Obi-Wan Kenobie, it’s our only hope.  But how can you still have hope when half the country thinks all of this nightmarish fascism is just us being great again?

Press Pass

I am thinking of declaring this blog as a legitimate news service. Once done I will submit for access to the White House press conferences. I won’t be mainstream media, so in theory they will look favorably upon my request and grant me access.

After a few stories from me those fascist pieces of shit will learn what a negative bias is. CNN and the New York Times will look like Trump’s best buddies when I get through with them.

The Trump Fascist Regime thinks the courts are wrong when they do their Constitutional job in checking the Executive Branch. Yeah, okay. The Trump Fascist Regime thinks that the free press is wrong when they exercise our Constitutional right to a free press. Still though, his supporters drop to their knees, give the fascist salute, and open wide over everything he does and says. Read the Constitution. Go on. I dare you.

Now all we need is for the Legislature to actually do their Constitutional job and act as a check on the Executive branch, but we all know those fascist collaborators are on their knees with the rest of the them.

Long Weekend

After two straight foot-plus snow falls we limped into the three day President’s Day weekend. I’d wish you a happy President’s day, but the current president is a fascist and I’d rather not wish anything related to him upon anyone.

My goals for the weekend were simple. Clean the bedroom, do all the laundry, and work on RPM. Simple enough, right? I thought so too, until I walked down cellar to put that first load of laundry into the dryer and my basement was underwater. Yeah, thanks washing machine. I had to run a second load in order to figure out where the problem was. It’s not the washer or any of the hoses. It’s the pipe the outflow hose drains into. There’s a clog in there somewhere and it backed up something fierce. Calls to the plumber have been made.

So my wet vac and I rekindled our old friendship and I carried about a thousand gallons of water (give or take a few) out the cellar bulkhead. Granted, I had to shovel out the cellar bulkhead first, which just added insult to injury. My back is not thanking me at all. Clearly I wasn’t going to finish the bedroom on Saturday, and I was just too sore from all the liftin’ on Sunday. I’m working on it today, a little at a time.

I took all of our remaining laundry to a laundromat with a wash/dry/fold service. It’s way too expensive, but it makes my life a little easier today. I also get to help out a small local business, which is nice once in a while.

I did some RPM work, but not enough. I still don’t have any lyrics and I only have eight days. There are 14 songs and all the rhythm guitars are done. Vocals next… I just have to write the parts. I’m not giving up though, just in case you were wondering. Onward and upward.

I am a little disappointed in myself. Politically, I should be doing more. There was a rally in Boston yesterday demonstrating against anti-science. Now that on the surface just sounds friggin’ ridiculous… as if science, the search for truth, could ever be attacked. Well, when you live in a fascist state you have to do some weird, crazy shit. Rallying in support of science is one of them

I didn’t go. I could have. I should have. Actually, I couldn’t have. I had too many other things going on. That’s not the point. I feel like I need to do more. I need to say more. I need to speak louder and more confidently to a larger audience. I rant on twitter a bit. I get some responses from both sides, but it’s pretty impotent when you come to think of it. I don’t rant enough on Facebook. I should do more there. My wife is amazing. She lets Facebook have it with both barrels. No holding back at all on her part. I wish I had the stones to do that. She’s been my hero since the day we met and this is just another example.

I don’t know. I feel like I have to get my voice into the growing crowd of people who are fed up with the fascist bullshit. He’s only been in office one month and already the country is spiraling out of control. The President declared the media an enemy of the people? Does he know that the press is protected by the constitution? He rails against the courts. Does he know that the constitution created the courts specifically as a check against the president and the legislature? Does he even realize that the constitution exists? If he does, does he care?

I need to do more. I want to do more. I don’t know if I am physically capable of doing more, but I want to. Maybe come March I’ll start keeping a closer eye on the goings on in Boston and maybe try and add my tiny voice to the growing chorus. I have to do something. If we want this fascist nightmare to end, we all have to do something.

Two Twitter Politics Thoughts

I posted something to twitter last night that got a little bit of a response. I replied to a CNN post saying essentially two things. First, Trump is a fascist. Second, what Trump labels fake news is not in fact fake news.

There were about five responses from conservatives. Four of them swore at me. I’ve never met any of these people, I just don’t agree with their political ideology. Yet they felt the need to swear at me. Okay, that’s the world we live in now. The CIVIL in CIVILization is clearly lost on much of our society. What can you do though, hate is just so in fashion.

The other response is probably notable because it came from the first two conservative responders, and because I found it really hysterically funny. They both commented about how CNN is fake news. They didn’t react to me calling the president of the United States of America a fascist, they commented about CNN. So obviously they agree that Donald Trump is in fact nothing but a dirty, disgusting, orange pile of fascist goo.

The movement is spreading, folks! Resist!

ACLU

So what do you think of the immigration executive orders? I want to say I am shocked and appalled, but I can’t. Unlike a slew of people who actually voted for that fucking nazi Trump, I believed him when he said he’d pull this crap. I’m not even surprised he went this far this quickly. This is what fascists do.

I was watching some live video from JFK airport on Facebook last night when the first Federal Judge ruled against the executive order. I was so proud. It was a team from the ACLU that argued in favor of the detainees. I have been thinking about joining the ACLU ever since the election, but I was putting it off for no reason other than wanting to work it into the family budget first. Last night I finally joined. It’s a teeny tiny little step toward throwing my name in with those who are actually standing up against the fascists. It feels more real than just ranting about things on twitter… which I do quite a bit these days.

The stay against the executive order is temporary, but it’s a start. A number of Federal Judges have ruled against it already, including one from Boston thankyouverymuch.

We have reached a point where millions of Americans are so afraid of the muslim boogeyman that they are willing to give up the Bill of Rights in exchange for the illusion of security. If saving your country requires destroying everything your country stands for, is your country really worth saving?

Division

During the Obama administration I looked at the state of the nation, with the Republicans in congress doing everything they could to block every idea coming out of the White House, and how the average Joe Publics on the street were always at each other’s throats over which side of the aisle was right.

I couldn’t imagine The United States being more divided than that.

Now? It seems like a happy memory. There is talk of secession. There was talk of secession then too, but now? Could the Northeast and the West coast find a way to work together? I’m not in favor of splitting up the union, but I am less against it now than I ever could have dreamed.

We are no longer one country. We are a fascist state and a democracy under one roof and completely at odds with ourselves.
