The Red Sox are hitless through four. They are coming up in the bottom of the fifth now. Patches has a good feeling that this is the inning the bats wake up.
They are trailing 1-0 in a game they have to win.
Come on Red Sox.

This is how candles should melt. Even and see through.

Game four is about three hours away and the work day is almost over, therefore look at the candle and be distracted.
We cleaned up Bellana’s room over the weekend and removed most of Miss Patches’ favorite hiding spots.
Her new favorite spot is Harry’s beanbag chair. Anyone in her position would do the same, obviously.

In honor of today’s Apple Event, I took two desk pics of Patches in portrait mode, using the 1x lens.
Happy M1 MacBook Pros day*!

*Based on rumors. The event might still be going on but I haven’t checked in. Hopefully there will be new MacBook Pros. Covid-Christmas II is coming, after all.
If there is a downside to watching the Great British Bake Off it is that the chances of eating cake go up massively after the cake week episode. Like, massively.
If you can call that a downside, of course.
Also, cat:

The Red Sox beat the Astros in game two, 9-5. They were up 9-0 early and kept letting Houston creep back, but they ran out of time. Game three is Monday night in Boston.
Now that the game is over we’ve moved on to the Bruins game. The opening game of the season is tied at one after two periods.
Just for completeness sake, UMass Lowell’s men’s ice hockey opening weekend was postponed because the other team had a Covid-19 outbreak.
And in closing, check out my cat.
