I did it. I snuck in some guitar playing. Dinner is going to be late tonight so I went straight from work to the new Les Paul.
I worked on rhythm parts for two really terrible songs. Les Paul Standard 50s into a Rock Your Repaired Amp The Klone overdrive pedal into a Vox AC15. Life felt good for a few minutes there. Excellent.
Up next is some hamburgers cooked on the grill where life will continue to feel good for a few more minutes.
Baby steps, babie. Baby steps.
Patches is glad that my father will be moving to another rehab facility today. It should happen around 4:00pm, half an hour from now.
This is the third facility this year. Please please please let him have better results this time.
The great candle race of 2021 is over. The winner, by approximately an astronomical unit* is the red candle. You knew this because I bet on the blue candle.
*An astronomical unit is the average distance between the Earth and the Sun.
Totally random, pointless cat picture.
That’s why you all come here, right?
I started two Yankee Candles at the same time. I’ve never lit one without the other. It’s a candle race, babie! I put my money on the blue candle.
Much like my NHL predictions, my candle predictions just suck.
There was a moth in here the other day. Patches is ready in case it comes back. She’ll hold it down with one paw and stab it to death with the other. Patches is deadly with a butter knife.
She’s trying very hard to lower my stress level. It’s not working at all.
Patches is worried about my dad too.
