Can you see the ducks? They were pretty well camouflaged, but there are a bunch of them in the shot.

This is just for the current account, of course. My original account turned 10 back in December, but I haven’t used it since I started this account, six years ago today.
Week 45 Weigh In
I’m a day late for my Wednesday weigh in post. Do you think there’s a reason for that? Do ya? Betcha do.
Yeah, for the second week in a row I am up. Up 1.4 pounds to be exact. That means over the last two weeks I am up 2.4 pounds. Yeah, that sucks, but it’s also not a big deal. I knew it was coming. My weigh in yesterday was 218.4. I still love that number.
I weighed myself when I got up this morning and I was down from yesterday. I weighed myself again after finishing my workout and my morning constitutional (TMI) and I was down a little more. Two weeks ago I was at 216. Maybe I’ll check on it every day until I drop below 216 and update the spreadsheet then… because I am a content whore and I’m obsessed with watching the graphs I made on my spreadsheet trend down. You know how it is.
Yesterday was a bad day for feeling healthy as well. My lunch didn’t sit well, my shoveling from Tuesday night left my back and my neck and my shoulders and my arms in a ton of pain. To make matters worse, my Wednesday morning jog (yog) was 56 minutes long because I wanted my move (calorie) goal complete before I left for the office. All of that combined messed me up big time. To make matters worse, my dinner set my nausea off and it didn’t let up until just before I fell asleep. That means I didn’t have anything to eat last night after about 7:30 or so, and my empty stomach was hurting in a big way when I woke up. I’ve had breakfast and some water since then and I feel better, but my body is still sore and unhappy and I am expecting today to be a pretty crappy day.
Here’s hoping I’m wrong, and here’s hoping the scale stops going up. Am I right?

Ocean
My last photo of the Atlantic Ocean was taken at Daytona Beach in Florida. The next one will probably be Salisbury Beach in Massachusetts, or maybe Hampton Beach in New Hampshire. I just need the temps to be a little warmer before I go for a visit.
Pretty stoked that I got that bird in the shot, even though you can barely see it or tell what it is. It’s there. Nice job, Robert.
Commute
I made it to work this morning with virtually no traffic. One douche canoe cut me off and I had to hit my breaks. Another douche nozzle tried to stop at the top of an on-ramp and then pull into traffic four feet in front of me without speeding up first. Other than those two schmucks the drive in was event free.
The post-storm sky was interesting though.
Shovel
That storm was an asshole. I’d say we probably had 6-8 inches of snow, but it was never cold enough for it to stay frozen and it was soaking wet and weighed a ton. We might have had way over a foot if it had been five degrees colder, and it wouldn’t have been sitting on a city sized puddle.
When I finished work I was convinced that I wouldn’t be driving into the office tomorrow. Then I saw the forecast had changed some and the predicted overnight snow was now predicted overnight rain. Shit. I went outside and shoveled the driveway and cleared off the cars. If it is just rain tonight I’ll drive to the office tomorrow. If it’s snow again I’ll likely stay home.
I hate snow in March. Have I ever mentioned that?
French Clock
Two days in a row with a bonus post? What’s going on here?
This is a clock in the French section of the Epcot World Showcase.
You Suck, Snow
Two Storms in One
We’re going to get spanked around by the weather today. Also tonight. Also tomorrow. It started last night with a heavy rain storm. That storm is supposed to merge with a nor’easter today and turn into a butt load of snow. Yippee.
It was raining like nuts when I went down to the cellar this morning. When I poked my head up a few minutes ago it was just starting to turn into snow. Hooray.
The forecast is calling for 6-10 inches of snow today. I’m not sure how much we’re supposed to expect tomorrow. It’s March 14th. It’s still Winter, and Winter is not going to go quietly… the prick.
Tomorrow is a work from the office day, and the snow is supposed to still be falling during the morning commute. Oh good.
I hate Winter. I just hate it.
