Wampler Pedals released something new yesterday. It’s their take on the ProCo Rat distortion pedal.

I don’t own a Rat. I don’t really have any plans to get one. In order to just put my toe into the water I bought a cheap Chinese clone a few years ago. I’ve barely ever used it, but in the spirit of the day I brought it out and used it on a couple of songs. I like it. Maybe enough to change my mind about upgrading… someday. Someday.

Day 25 is coming to a close. There are only three days left. Am I panicking?

In word…

YES.

I got a nice bit of work done tonight, but it’s nowhere near enough.

I put lead guitar onto five songs and mixed one song.

Right now I have six songs finished, six songs ready to mix, and eight songs still waiting on lead guitars.

Three days left… that’s it. Oh boy.

48 Degrees

It’s 48 degrees outside. Not warm enough to feel like Spring, but warm enough to feel like Spring is on the way.

It can’t get here soon enough.
