I went back to the Sugar Free Bakery today. It had been a couple of months since my last visit, maybe even longer than that.
The cookies were calling to me. I had to cave in to the temptation.

It feels like it took years, but I finally got my MacBook Pro setup to use Apple Intelligence. Nice!
Now I can get busy never, ever, ever using it.
I mean never, ever.
I’m not shopping, I’m just paying homage.
Day two was mostly spent recovering from travel on day one (day three will be similar, I fear). I did add a second song idea and I worked out a full song form for both day 2’s song and day 1’s. So I now have two songs with full form done, including bass and drums. One of them may have a sax part already too, but it’s just a keyboard as a place holder for now.
I guess now that I am home again I have to start paying attention to reality again… in haiku form:
So it’s a trade war
With both our next door neighbors
Trump is a fuck head.
Duck and cover, kids… there are going to be a lot of pics in this one.
Disney World. January 2025. Me, my wife, my step daughter, and my mother in law. It was a great week.
The cats are displaying my feelings perfectly. I just want to nap… and nap… and nap.
It is February again so it is time for daily RPM Challenge updates.
Not much yesterday (Day one, Sunday), just one song idea noodled out in GarageBand for iPhone while sitting in a hotel room near Orlando, Florida waiting to check out and fly home. Hopefully I’ll get to a little more than that today.
We are home. I am sitting up in bed. There was drama at the baggage claim and more drama, of the weather related sort, at the end of our driveway when we got here. I might write about those dramatic events at some later date, but I also might not.
Suffice to say that we are home at last. It is almost 11:00pm and I plan on having a sugar free snack, watching Friday’s episode of Severance, and then falling asleep.
Ah, Massachusetts. Our trip to Florida was outstanding, but I am so glad to be back where I belong.
The plane has landed. We are on the ground in Boston, MA. Where I belong. Welcome home!
