Back to Remote

My step son, Harry, started the school year at full remote but after a couple of weeks they switched to a hybrid plan where he was at home part of the week and at the high school the rest of the time.

Over the last few weeks the school system has seen an uptick in Covid-19 cases. Tonight they announced that a staff member at the high school tested positive and they are switching back to full remote for at least a couple of days.

I don’t want anyone to get sick, but mostly I don’t want people who regularly come into contact with members of my family to get sick. I don’t know if that happened in this case, but I have to admit that I’m pleased he doesn’t have to go into the school building tomorrow.

I’m so thoroughly sick of this bullshit.

Take the Bad, Take the Good

I have a bad feeling about tomorrow. I’m not sure why, but I think tomorrow is going to be a grade A shit day.

On the plus side though, there will be a new episode of The Mandalorian.

You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and then you have the facts of life. Yeah, the facts of life.

This is the way.

I have spoken.
