Stink Eye

So I’m sitting up in bed with my iPad, listening to a David Crosby album, googling specs for my uncontrollably loud amp and I happen to look across the room at my work desk and what should I see but Miss Patches laying down on my mouse pad, staring at me. Her eyes are like little kitty sized daggers lasering straight into my soul and judging me guilty of countless sins.

Damn, kitty. Enough with the evil stink eye, m’kay?

Main Speaker Output

I dug up the owners manual for my Bassbreaker 18/30 and I think plugging out to my 1×12 cabinet from the Main speaker out will work. I’ll need to set the resistance at 8 ohms and put an attenuator in the speaker path. That might let me play this amp at home without deafening everyone.

We will see.

Why Can’t I Sleep

Four out of the last five nights I’ve had epically bad sleep. I’m talking pre-CPAP therapy level bad sleep. Over the last week the nights that weren’t legendarily bad still weren’t good.

Why can’t I sleep anymore? Worry and stress and guilt are surely part of it, but why is it so much worse now than it was a couple of weeks ago? Nothing has changed.

My watch tells me that last night I got 3:45. How am I even alive anymore? What the hell, bro?

Wind

It is so windy outside that it feels like nature is trying to huff and puff and blow our house down. It’s howling loud enough to almost keep me from falling asleep. Almost.
