It is piling up out there.

It is piling up out there.

The bird feeders are a good snowfall accumulation reference point too. They are more exposed to the wind though.

Pic snapped at 11am. The wind is crazy out there so this view might not be accurate. I’m not paying enough attention to know if the wind is blowing snow off the railing or not.

That’s a depiction of the amount of snow we’ve had dropped on us so far. I took this at about 8:50am.
I’m thinking of taking the same pic every two hours or so. How’s that sound, good? Fascinating? Pointless and stupid but I’m still going to do it anyway? Yeah, that one.
The Bruins beat the Coyotes 2-1. Hard to believe it was that close against a team that bad. I’ll take it though.
The question now is, why am I still awake? The game is over. Go to bed.
My Apple Watch is charged. I was waiting for that but it’s done so go to bed.
I’m listening to music, but I can do that in the morning. Go to sleep.
I’ve got a little cut on the inside of my upper lip. Now that’s a good reason to still be awake, but it’s not that good a reason. Go to sleep.
Okay already. I’ll go to sleep. Sheesh, lay off, you jerk.
Good night.
I made a new playlist on Apple Music. Here’s hoping it keeps growing.

The Bruins have a 2-1 lead over Arizona, four minutes into the third period.
That’s good, right?
Sort of. I mean sure being in the lead is good and all. It’s Arizona though. They are barely an NHL team. The Bruins should be up by 10 by now.
Back on the power play. Can we pad this lead a little, guys?
Joni Mitchell’s website posted an update tonight stating that she is joining Neil Young and pulling her catalog off of spotify.
My suggestion is to go someplace that isn’t spotify, preferably a record store but we’ll take what we can get, and play the following albums on an endless loop:
As more artists join the crusade we can add more records. Sound good?
Cat paw.

Also, the rest of the cat.

We’re going to get slammed tomorrow. I am trying to get a consensus on the snowfall projections. It looks like it’s either 12-18″, 18-24″, or more than 24 inches. Two feet. Crap.
In other words, it’s a Five French Toast Slices storm.
Someone at work today asked if we all had our French Toast supplies (eggs, milk, bread). Someone else sent a link to the French Toast Alert System. I am overwhelmed with glee over having this in my life now.
The site has a storm alert rating based on slices of French Toast:

Tomorrow’s storm is waffling between 4 slices and 5 slices. Either way, Harvey Leonard is happy, and old ladies are getting run over in the supermarket milk section.
It’s chaos out there, and it hasn’t even started yet.
Hold on to your butts, kids.
