Meatball

Jen made spaghetti and meatballs for dinner for her and Harry, who coincidentally started a new job in a restaurant today, and she purred a meatball for me.

It was my first post-op taste of red meat and it was glorious.

It made me think about eating at restaurants. My go-to is usually a steak, but there is no way I’m going to be able to eat a whole steak in one sitting now. I’m going to have to learn how to be the kind of guy who takes home the leftovers. Maybe I’ll keep a cooler in the trunk of each car, or something like that.

Guitar Day

I went exactly two months without playing guitar…

…before I played today.

I played my SG because it’s the lightest guitar with the smallest body and I figured it would be the easiest to deal with against my recently sliced open gut.

There were no issues.

Life is good.

Here in Massachusetts in the good old (sliding uncontrollably toward becoming a fascist nuclear nightmare) USA, it is not Bellana’s birthday.

However, in Dublin, Ireland, where she is at this very moment, it is her birthday.

When Harry came home from school he was super interested in breaking down the latest Marvel movie so we went ahead and watched it. It wasn’t as good as No Way Home, but it was better than the other two phase four-ish movies. I liked it a lot.

So that is it. All of the Marvel movies that were available for viewing have been viewed. Bam. So I guess we’ll return to this topic in a few months when the next Thor comes out.
