Last night I started looking at lens mount adapters. Maybe I can put dad’s lenses on my eBay camera. Maybe I can put them on my DSLR?
I found two adapters on B&H‘s website. I’m thinking about it, but will do a little more digging first. I’d love to be able to use dad’s 50mm prime lens at Disney in January. I think that might be the best lens in the house. Still, I want something that will autofocus for the DSLR. Let’s just say my eyes ain’t what they used to be.

The two rolls of film that were out for delivery are in! They said 5-10 business days and then sent them back to me on a Saturday! I love this lab! Old School Photo Lab gets it done again!
It’s all up on Flickr now. I’ll post something later today. For now I want to visit Mom and then see if I can get myself some clothes that fit me. After that, more pic posts!
I just took a three minute exposure shot. Heh heh heh.
My camera bag is packed, my broken tripod is folded up, and I even have a sweatshirt and clothes laid out. We are goin’ shootin’ in the morn.
But where? I’m thinking Salisbury Beach (sunrise at 6:18am) or downtown Lowell or downtown Concord. I haven’t decided yet.
All that’s left to do is set an alarm on my AppleWatch that hopefully won’t wake up my beloved Jennifer… and decide where to go.
Boston? Naw, not this time. Salisbury Beach and Lowell? Hmmmm. We’ll find out when I actually get there.
When the pics that are out for developing right now come back there will be a few more shots from our walk around Boston day. I really hope they come in today, but it could be any time in the next two weeks. As Tom Petty once said, “the waiting is the hardest part.”
The sun comes up at 6:20 am tomorrow and weather kitty tells me it’s going to be mostly sunny. Tomorrow sounds like a perfect morning to grab the camera and go shoot stuff.
But what?
I’m thinking of following the Merrimack River into Dracut and Lowell. I’m not sure though. Maybe I’ll go to Forrest Lake in Methuen, or what about Long Pond in Tewksbury? I don’t want to go too far, but I kinda want to get out of town. I don’t know. It seems like a waste to just stay in bed, but that’s usually what I end up doing.
The weather looks good on Saturday morning too. Maybe Salisbury Beach at sunrise again? It’s been two months since I’ve visited the ocean. It might happen.
I’m going a little crazy with all of this, aren’t I.
