We’re back home. We were out for about five hours. The trip was a bit of a bust from the leaf peeping and photo taking point of view. From the perspective of Jen and me jumping in the car and road trippin’ for the hell of it, it was a total success.
We didn’t stop anywhere. As soon as we got North of Concord, NH the clouds moved in and everything looked gloomy and bad. We dipped our toes into the White Mountain region and then turned around and took the long way home.
I took exactly one photograph:

We did a similar thing today. My husband and I hopped in our car and drove about 25 miles north to western NY. We drove around a small lake, leaf peeping. It was a strange weather day. It was windy and cold. It was raining on one side of the lake, and the sun was shining on the other side. I did take a few pictures with my new iPhone, but shared those pictures on Facebook.

I’m sure you enjoyed that drive far more after being cooped up for two weeks. Glad you had a nice time.

My husband is up in New Hampshire on his motorcycle with a group of people. He said the amount of people up there (Conway, Kagamangus highway) was crazy!
