The work day isn’t even an hour old yet and already my day is insanely busy. What’s up with that?
I haven’t had time, energy, or desire to read about the orange nazi goo’s speech from last night. I’m sure that every word was a lie so who gives a flying fuck what he said. I’m more interested in the Democrat’s reaction, which I am sure was lame and ineffectual. I wish I was being sarcastic, but I am not.

trump, the felon in chief and first rapist of the fascist states of america, yesterday claimed that Ukraine started the war with Russia. Despite, you know, the solid fact that Russia started the war when they invaded their neighbor.
Given his rapist history, it’s no wonder that the fucker claimed Ukraine was asking for it, just like I’m sure his rape victims were all asking for it. Obviously. I mean, they all had vaginas so of course they were asking for it.
Also, about half of the voters in the nazi states of america agree with his statement.
We are so beyond saving.

I’ve always liked Neil Young, but I never really dove into his music the way some people do. I know people whose obsession with Neil Young rivals my obsession with Rush*. I never dug that deep. Everybody Knows This is Nowhere and After the Gold Rush and Harvest and Deja Vu are friggin masterpieces. I can’t really tell you what they are musically because Neil Young is such his own thing that it defies categorization, but I can tell you that they are pretty much perfect. After that my knowledge of his career is kind of spotty.
Yesterday though, Neil proved that he is indisputably The Man. He sent a letter to his management and his label telling them to remove his music from Spotify in protest of Spotify hosting Joe Rogan’s podcast. Rogan spews Covid disinformation and puts Spotify customers at risk. Neil Young’s letter says that Spotify can have him or they can have Rogan but they can’t have both.
Kick ass. Neil Young: The Man. If I were wearing a cap right now I would 100% be tipping it to him.
In a world of schmucks like Eric Clapton, be Neil Young.
*Rush did a Neil Young song on their covers EP. Buffalo Springfield’s Mr Soul. That really doesn’t mean anything at all, I just feel happy that it happened. They actually did two Buffalo Springfield songs on that EP but the other was a Stephen Stills song. They covered For What it’s Worth. I don’t know if Neil Young (or Stephen Stills for that matter) ever heard the covers, but I hope he (they) did and I hope he (they) dug them. I guess I just like the idea of knowing that artists I admire also admire each other. I think that’s a happy thought.

I mentioned my mother’s ears are blocked. That means she has the volume on the television cranked. It is literally as far away from me as it can be while both of us are still in the house and it sounds like it’s scotch taped to my head.
She’s watching the morning news. They are interviewing people who are not taking the Covid-19 vaccine because reasons. All of the reasons are false and total bullshit, but reasons.
You cannot exist in the year 2021 and be so stupid that you choose to not take this vaccine. You simply cannot be that stupid.

The White House Science Office said yesterday that they have stopped the pandemic. I wonder… did they ask the 1,100 people who died of Covid-19 today?
That’s right. More then 1,100 people died of Covid-19 today. Today. My math says that there were about 88,000 new cases in the US today. Today.
But the White House Science Office says they’ve stopped the pandemic.
Right. I don’t think that word means what they think it means.
For those who put bets on what time UPS would change my estimated delivery to Monday, it happened just after 9:30. That was half an hour after the estimated delivery time.
The status changed again. We are once again showing in transit to Chelmsford, MA even though the package has been scanned into that very location at least four times over the last week, including twice today. The best part is the latest activity. “Delay: Emergency Situation or Severe Weather.”
