The Guitar Was Played Tonight – #RPM2022

Oh glorious glory, the electric guitar was played tonight. Only for about an hour. Maybe an hour and 15 minutes. Progress on the RPM Challenge was made though.

I had three songs that needed rhythm guitar tracks. I got them all down. I had nine songs that needed lead guitar tracks. I got one of them.

There are 13 songs in progress. I would like to get to 20, but I’ll take 15. I need 10 for the final challenge submission and I want to have some options for which 10 to use. The more options the better because none of these songs are terribly good, even by my abysmally low standards.

Still, regardless of the final outcome at the end of the month, there was rock rolled tonight.

I used a clip on tuner in the bedroom setup (though not the band setup). You wanna make something of it?

Bertha’s new leaf is open and healthy and loving life.

Also, are there new buds forming? Is “bud” the right term?

I Screwed Up the Quinoa

I forgot to turn down the burner and messed up the quinoa. I had to throw on a second batch to recover and it wasn’t great.

Patches is totally judging my culinary skills, or lack there of.

We Left the House

No worries, we just left the house and went to a store for the first time in months.

Bruins Fan Cat

Ms Patches is pleased that the Bruins followed Thursday’s nasty loss with a win today. She’s breathing a sigh of hockey relief.

The House Plants Have Names

As of this morning the four house plants in the bedroom have officially official names.

This tall drink of water is named Zack. Jen said it just looks like a Zack. Zack Attack, you know.

Jen told me that I had to come up with a name for the Japanese Peace Lilly. The choice is obvious. It’s name is Sgt. Angel, though Sgt. Angle is also acceptable. Do you get it? No? Go watch the movie Hot Fuzz. All will be made clear.

This one is named Ron. Jen didn’t give an explanation, but I have to assume it is in honor of the best member of the Harry Potter Big Three, Ron Weasley. Why is he the best? Why, red hair of course. Also because Weasley is our King, he never lets the quaffle in, Weasley is our King.

Finally, and by far most important, is Bellana’s clipping. Bellana named the plant that the clipping came from Burt. Therefore, the clipping (COMPLETE WITH A NEW LEAF!!!!!!) will forever be known as Bertha.
