Mistake?

On my first two nights of intermittent fasting I had a snack just before the eating window closed at 9:00pm. Today I didn’t. In fact, the last food I ate tonight was dinner at around 6:00pm… which means my 16 hour fast is going to end up more like 19 hours.

Did I make a mistake here? We will see.

Sad Note

I wasn’t going to let myself get caught up in September 11th this year. I was just going to focus on the present and let it go. Then I totally failed at that and went through all of my previous posts on September 11ths over the years.

Two years ago I wrote a big long entry on everything I did that day. I closed it with a little postscript:

My parents had Kennedy. Their parents had Pearl Harbor. My only hope now is that my step kids never get an event of their own.

Well, so much for that. The kids have a thing of their own now. Oh, and our Federal government knew it was going to be horrible and decided to ignore it. 192,000 corpses, all laying at the cheeto dictator’s feet.

Two Cars

Yesterday there was one car at the movie theater. Today there are two.

Are they opening up again? Are they insane?

Wait…. are they already open? They are, aren’t they. No wonder our infection numbers keep going up.

Addendum: I just Googled “movies 01844” and sure enough, this movie theater is open. If your goal is to kill your family and friends, there are easier ways.

New Strings Day

I started using my ES-335 for my home demo projects back in late May. The other day I was missing my Les Paul. I didn’t play it because the strings were an ancient mess.

These puppies came from amazon today. Guess which gitter is getting a new set. Go on, guess.
