Trying to distract myself from the goings on elsewhere.
We are still waiting on two new end tables and a new mattress, but everything else is set (except for the box between the dressers that still needs to go to the cellar.
Also, a slight change of decor in the living room, with a theme.
Patches wants me to cheer up. She ain’t no therapist though.
This was delivered yesterday, just in time for the RPM Challenge on Monday.
It looks like my father may have had a small heart attack last night but we have a headboard, finally.
I’m trying very hard not to lose my shit today. I’m not doing a very good job.
I started watching episode six of the new mini series version of The Stand. I have to say something publicly and it won’t include any story spoilers, but it will give an opinion on one aspect of the production that may color your ideas a bit. Probably not, but maybe.

Okay, here it goes: Ezra Miller needs to retire. This is hands down the worst performance ever. Ever. He needs to be punished for this. He needs to go to his room without any supper and never come back again.
I’ve seen him in exactly two scenes and that’s enough to make the entire series suddenly feel unwatchable. Dude is that bad.
If the stapler was red this would be funnier.
Want to know what isn’t fun?
Watching your father get loaded into the back of an ambulance and then watching the ambulance drive off to take him to the hospital.
That’s not fun.

Jen bought a Japanese Peace Lilly, just like Sgt Angle.
The replacement to the replacement headboard was delivered yesterday along with a new set of desk drawers for my work from home nook. My back and my legs are still killing me from last weekend, with a little help from yesterday’s shoveling adventure (oh, and did I mention it’s snowing again?), but it looks like I’ve got some things to do this weekend too.
I haven’t played guitar this week. I was too sore yesterday. Maybe tonight, we’ll see.
