The traffic in both Virginia and Maryland has been a complete nightmare. We’ve gone about 200 miles but should have been able to go twice that in the time we’ve been on the road today. The gridlock is just endless.

Dinner Date
15 years ago today we were on the first day of our honeymoon, in Woodstock, VT.
Today we are somewhere in Virginia having a dinner date. It was a good day 15 years ago. It’s a good day, today.
Back in Virginia
The trip home is taking longer than the trip down, but we have made it to Virginia in one piece.
Hopefully the restaurant in the hotel is decent.

Maintenance
Stopping for some automotive maintenance in Georgia. There is nothing wrong, just having our tires checked out before we go much further.

So much traffic.
We made it out of Florida and most of the way across Georgia. We did not get to Savannah in time for a romantic date night on our anniversary, but we did make it to the city. We have some things we need to do in the morning that will delay our departure, but we’re already trying to think of some places to stop and visit as we head North. Here’s hoping we’ll have better luck out on the road tomorrow.
Though we did get a little snippet of good news along the way. Not that it will have any affect on anything at all.
