What is that blue stuff up in the sky? I haven’t seen anything like that in ages. It’s supposed to be grey and gloomy up in the sky, not blue and beautiful. What’s going on?

I worked in this building for a few years starting back in 2004. The view is pretty nice. Today was the first time I had been there since pre-Covid. I wouldn’t mind working in this building again except that we have two buildings that are a bit closer to home. This one is pretty far away.
More Car Music Fun
I snuck out for some more singing in the car this morning. I only had three songs ready to go and I finished all of them. That’s two days in a row. Can you believe it? Now I have to start writing lyrics again. Ugh.

Finally, when I got home I saw this. The fire hydrant in our front yard is in a bag. There is writing on the bag that you can’t see here that says leak detection test, or something like that. Interesting? Maybe. Maybe not.
Sunday Guitar
I put rhythm guitars on three songs today, and lead guitars on two. I went direct, even though it’s not nearly as much fun as using a speaker. Oh well. I could hear Jen talking on the phone upstairs when I started playing and I didn’t want to disturb her. I figured I’d be a nice guy and keep things quiet.
Errands Complete
Oil changed, inspection sticker acquired, groceries purchased, and a bunch of Power Ball quick picks snagged. Now what? Music? Probably lunch first. Maybe a Doctor Who or two.

Finally! While I was cooking my lunch on the grill today I got a picture of one of the birds living rent-free in one of the bird houses!
Now I need to see if there are baby birds in there too.
Lame Photo-a-Day Day
The whole photo a day challenge thing gets pretty lame on the one day per week I work in the office. It’s usually just a picture from the highway, or from the parking lot at work, or of my desk, or something lame like that.
