Hard Time

I am having a hard time with the state of the universe today. It’s just difficult. Everything. Here are some pics from the gas station this morning on the way to work to try and distract me from all of the shit.

In happier news, Lily the kitten got out of the room we were hiding her in this morning. We were probably going to let her out today to see how the two cats handled integration. All is well. They have integrated. Robin the mother cat is adorable. Lily the kitten is adorable times 10.

I am going to go take a nap. I’m the overnight shift tonight.

Disney Bikes

I wrote before about a pair of bikes I saw in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. They were leaning against a building and I took a picture on film. Later I saw what I thought were the same two bikes in a different location and took a digital picture.

I needed to see the film to answer the burning questions. Was I mistaken and they were different bikes? Were they the same bikes and I was mistaken about the different locations? Did I screw up the film shots and end up with an illegible blob of gross on the film?

Let us answer these questions at last!

I had to go home for a minute before heading back to the hospital, but Robin didn’t run away and that’s good.

I visited my father today. We had a conference call with my brother. It was a difficult talk but it was necessary and we’re all on the same page… even though it’s an awful page to be on. I’ll talk about it someday, but not quite yet.

I’m home for a quick lunch and then heading to the hospital to see my mother.

I have done zero prep for the start of the RPM Challenge next week. Well… I moved a second amp into my office/music nook. There’s that, at least. Baby steps.

Florida Recap Post – The Ninth

It’s been a while, but here’s some more Florida! Still waiting for the film to come back. I was hoping I’d have the scans today but maybe tomorrow? We’ll see. These are from our full day at Epcot. Most of which was spent in the World Showcase. There was talk of drinking around the world, but a stomach bug got in the way of that plan.
