Happy Mother’s Day

Are you someone’s mother? Are you someone who plays a mother’s role?

If the answer to either question is yes then, HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

This especially goes out to my beloved wife, Jen. It also goes out to my sister, my sister in law, and my friends who have kids and my mother in law. All the mothers in my life. You are the hardest working people on Earth and you deserve 10000 times the accolades that you get. Every day should be mothers day. No one deserves it more. I love all of you and hope you all have an A+ fantastic day today.

This is the second mothers day since my mother passed away. I miss her a lot. Jen and I are going to visit her grave this morning. After that I am planning on cleaning the hell out of the kitchen and the living room as a mothers day present to my wife.

So in closing, HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all of the mothers out there. All of the mothers and those who fill the role of mothers. If you’re one of those people then have a wonderful day. If you’re not, then find someone who is and make sure they have a wonderful day.

My Birthday

Today is not just Mothers Day. It’s also my birthday. 51 years young and all that bullshit.

No real birthday celebrations this year. Just liquids, protein shakes, and lots of intake tracking.

Also, I’ve spent the whole day with Jen, so it’s the best birthday ever.

When I was a kid I used to feel gypped when my birthday fell on Mother’s Day. This year I have bigger fish to fry.

Jen is making dinner. For herself. One of my fears going into weight loss surgery was guilt at putting a burden on Jen. I’m feeling quite a bit of that today. She is so encouraging and supportive and I don’t want to make things difficult for her.

I guess the point of this post is that I hope you’re all having a good day on my birthday. Do something fun for me.

Happy Mothers Day

It’s Mother’s Day in the US today. I want to wish a happy day to all the moms out there. Especially to my sister and sister in law and mother in law and friends and cousins and coworkers. All of the people who are important to me.

Extra special wishes go to the two most important moms in my life. First my mother, without whom you wouldn’t be reading this… literally. Happy Mother’s Day, mom.

The other most important mom is, of course, my beloved wife, without whom I would not have had the joys of seeing a brilliant woman give her all for her children from the adult point of view. Happy Mother’s Day, Jen.

Happy Mother’s Day

Last week I asked my love what she wanted to do for Mother’s Day. She said to make her breakfast.

Done!

Harry was on waffles, I was on bacon and sausage.

Happy Mother’s Day, Jen! We love you so much and we are thankful for all the things you do for us.

Happy Mothers Day

Are you someone’s mother?  Are you having a happy Mothers Day?  I hope so,

Bellana and Harry made brunch for their mum.  Scotch eggs and sausage patties.  Sooo good.  I know your mother appreciated it.

Happy mothers day to all the mothers out there.  I mean that literally, not in a kind of Samuel Jackson slang kinda way.  If you are someone’s mother, happy Mothers Day!

I’m mostly looking at my beloved wife, Jen and my mother who doesn’t read this blog ever, but also to all the other Moms.  Also, if you are a mother and you don’t live in the US and therefore don’t celebrate Mothers Day today, that’s okay.  I’m talking to you too.

Happy Mothers Day!

Happy Mother’s Day

Happy Mother’s Day to all moms out there, everywhere.

Most importantly, happy Mother’s Day to my mom who is a Saint for putting up with my goofiness for 43 years. Also to my mother in law, my sister, and my sister in law. Happy Mother’s Day to you all.

Most most importantly, happy Mother’s Day to my lovely bride Jennifer. No mother works harder or does more for their kids than you. You never cease to amaze me.
