On this date in the year 2010 our family adopted a cat for the first time. Her name before she was picked up by the MSPCA shelter was Panic but they changed it to Panache. We changed it to Patches and she was the best neurotic cat who was afraid of everything and who would vomit almost daily you could ever dream of adopting. She was an amazing cat and we all loved her like crazy. She passed away on December 27, 2022 and we were very sad. Speaking for myself, I still am. I miss my little nutjob of a kitty.

Fediverse Cat
Just curious how images will look in the fediverse. It took me a few minutes to remember my login credentials for Mastodon, but I got there eventually. My posts show up there, and comments made there show up here. Looks like it works as advertised.
No Explanation
No, I will not explain what’s going on here.

Exhausted Cats
The cats are exhausted from a long day of sleeping and doing nothing. I’m exhausted too. I fell asleep watching an episode of Doctor Who. I woke up as it was ending, restarted from the beginning and fell asleep again. Ugh, doofus.
I am still hoping to do another photo walk in the morning but I really don’t know if I will have the energy. I have a lot of stuff to do tomorrow and I should probably sleep in, but the weather is going to be good for shootin’ pitchers so I am torn on what to do.
What do you think the cats would do if they found themselves in my position?
Sleep.
Morning Cats
I took these before work this morning. I don’t have a reason to post them now, but so what? They are cute so I’ll share.
Two Li’l Buddies
Now I have two little friends watching the tube with me!
My Li’l Buddy
My little buddy, watching Doctor Who with me while I eat dinner. Season 18, episode 14. I’m about to run out of Tom Bakers.
Opening Night Cats
The cats are super excited that tonight is opening night for the Boston Bruins. They are losing 1-0 to the Blackhawks in the first period. Connor Bedard just scored his first NHL goal.
Today’s Photo a Day Pic
Robin Sparkles was kind enough to pose for a picture before I left for the office this morning. Thanks, cat!
