Tomorrow morning before work. I will record some guitar parts.
I promise*.

Yes, the two of them in the basket together is adorable, but I don’t think it can handle that much weight.
How can napping in a basket be comfortable?
I’m really tired tonight though so I am kind of jealous.
Wanna know what I have failed to do for the last two days?
Hint:
Ugh. I am feeling very musically uninspired right now. That’s not good when I am trying to write and record an album entirely within the month of February. Crud.
On a happier note, yesterday was the first time that Robin the Cat jumped up on my desk and hung out with me while I worked. Today was the first time Lily the Cat did the same.
Lots of meetings on the agenda for today. Here’s hoping Monday will be quiet otherwise.
Happy Monday, working folks.
Here’s a cat to make you feel better about having to go back to work again.
Today is super bowl Sunday and I really, honestly, truly, could not possibly care less. I don’t give the faintest shit about football, the NFL, or any of it. Really, the only thing for me to look forward to is the aftermath of all of the maga asshole heads exploding the first time they put Taylor Swift on screen during the television broadcast. That is the only aspect of the game that is of any interest to me.
On the upside, it did give me the annual opportunity to crack my dumbest, most over used joke. I was talking to my father on the phone this morning and it went a little like this:
Dad: So, are there any sports on TV today? (He was kidding, of course)
Me: Well the Bruins played last night so no, no there isn’t.
Har har har, I’ve got a million of them. I’ll be here all week, be sure to tip your waitress.
In unrelated news, I got some good cat pics today.
Car music happened this morning. I recorded vocals for four songs while sitting in the car in an empty parking lot next to a giant snow bank.

Obligatory clock pic:

Bonus Fenway Park scoreboard mural thing on the liquor store wall pic:

Hopefully I’ll be able to get out and record more vocals in the car before work tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
My ‘79 ES-335 has been dropped off at the shop. Time for the nerves to take over.

Robin approves of my guitar’s case. She will be sad when I move it tomorrow.
Guitar number two (more like guitar number 1A) is going in the shop tomorrow. I am fully nervous again, even though guitar number one came out great.
Frets? Probably. Bridge and nut? Likely. Wiring harness? Could be. I should have it re-painted (white? red?) and re-finished too, but those are expenses I am not willing to take on.
