Is the Plant Growing?

I think this might be a sign of old age, but I am completely fucking fascinated with the little plant clipping. It sat in a glass of water for a couple of weeks without growing at all, then in two days it sprouted killer roots. We potted it and put it in the window. I open the blinds every day (it only gets indirect sunlight) and I watered it a couple of times (not too much) and it’s definitely not dead yet.

But has it grown at all? I think so, but it might be wishful thinking. I’m going to start documenting it. Get ready for shit loads of pictures of Bellana’s little clipping.

I’m hoping it will be 10 feet tall by the time she gets home.

Lightning to 1/8 Inch

Jen got this the other day but now she doesn’t think she’ll use it, so I’m inheriting it.

If it works the way Apple says it should then I may be able to use my AirPods Max for recording. Bring on the RPM Challenge tracking, right?

My Throat Hurts

Ouch.

I did the last vocal parts for The Great 2015 Re-recording Project this morning. I had two songs remaining, an easy one and a hard one. I started with the easy one and quickly learned that it wasn’t very easy. It may have been easy back in 2014 but it sure ain’t easy now. Maybe I’ll get lucky, thought I, and the hard one will turn out to be not so hard. Nope. The hard one turned out to be really hard.

My throat hurts.

It’s done though, so that’s really good. Happy Happy.

Work Late

I had to work late tonight. I have a project due tomorrow and I’m going to be out so I had to finish it tonight.

It’s all done, partly due to Patches cheering me on the whole time.

Guitar Playing is Fun

I chased this morning’s car vocals with some guitar playing. Bad guitar playing, but better than my usual crap. Well… maybe not that much better. Whatever.

I put leads on three songs. Volume six of the Great 2015 Re-Recording Project now has four songs ready to mix and only two more in the pipeline that aren’t ready to mix. Maybe I’ll mix a song tonight. That’d be fun, wouldn’t it?
