The two day window project is going to take three days. Partly due to yesterday’s rain, I guess.

The good news is they haven’t accidentally unplugged the Wi-Fi yet like they did yesterday.
I’ve worked on four seriously crappy song ideas today. My fingers are killing me and my iPad’s battery is close to dead.

What do you think of my recording studio?
Gibson SG standard into Ibanez Tube Screamer Mini into Vox MV50 Clean into IK Multimedia iRig split into iPad Air running GarageBand and an old pair of Bose headphones.
The only downside is the crew working on the bay window in the living room unplugged our router so my iPhone is now my only source of internet. Oh well.

I scared the hell out of Lily when I moved the bed. I didn’t realize she was under it at the time. Now she’s very affectionate. Almost as if she wants me to protect her from moving furniture in the future.
No promises, kitty.

If you’ve ever wondered what my house would look like without shutters, here you go…
Our window replacement project is scheduled to begin on Monday. This weekend will see us doing all of the prep work. The short length of the neurosurgeon appointment today allowed me to get a minor jump start. The shutters are down, most of them broke in the process, and the Christmas lights are down too. I still have a couple of things to do outside, but the big project is going to be clearing the space around the windows inside.
Hanging at the neurosurgeon’s office. You know, like ya do.

My stomach is very unhappy today. I simultaneously feel hungry and afraid to eat anything. I am not sure what to do, so I will post cat pictures in the hopes it will inspire me to do… something.
