The Bruins have a two goal lead after two periods. I’ve been watching the game out of the corner of my eye, and it sure looked like the Whalers carried the play for most of the second period. Here’s hoping the Bruins hang on.
Patches looks nervous, but the Bruins are in a good spot going into the third.
Patches doesn’t really care that I ate something that wasn’t in liquid form. She just wants the incisions to heal so she can jump on me again.
Patches finally came for a visit. Not by choice, Jen carried her downstairs, but it’s something.
I have (blurry) proof.
We watched her chase a tiny little moth tonight. It was entertaining. I might bust out the catnip tomorrow in thanks.
Sure, Patches is my emotional support cat, but as soon as I mentioned that a couple of the incision spots might be starting to get itchy a bit she just checked out.
Patches isn’t nervous about tomorrow at all. It’s like she has no idea what’s going on.
I want to go back to sleep but Patches won’t let me.
Back in the pre-cellar flood days, Patches used to enjoy hiding out downstairs. She also seemed to think she wasn’t allowed there too because anytime someone would catch her she sprint up the stairs at a world record pace.
After the floor and the walls were ruined we made sure the door was always closed to keep her out. Safety first, right?
Now that the construction is complete we were planning on letting her explore again. Tonight Jen and I spent a few minutes just enjoying the space. Patches snuck down the stairs and, after a lot of reassurance from us, joined us on the new couch.
She was a little hyper. This was the best picture I got. She’s both furry and blurry.
