Free Stuff

I went to the sugar free bakery in Salem, NH today. I am in a phase when I go there once a week on my way to the grocery store.

Today… they gave me free stuff. Not anything that I would ever eat, but still… free stuff.

What does it mean? Did they give free stuff to everyone or am I just suddenly a VIP customer?

I hope they gave free stuff to everyone because I don’t think I want to be a bakery’s VIP customer.

Clean

The refrigerator is clean! I say again, the refrigerator is clean!

It was not on our to do list for today at all, but we did it anyway. All of the shelves and drawers have been washed and dried and put back in place. We can actually see through the glass again! Hooray!

Sugar Free Ice Cream

It is not homemade. It is sugar free though. We found a few brands during our sugar free ice cream research trip to the supermarket last weekend and this is my first taste.

It’s not bad. It’s probably not as good as the real thing, but it is good enough.

Watching Me Like a…

The weather held long enough for me to cook dinner on the grill. Jen marinated some chicken and I cooked it. I consulted The Google to know how long to cook it and the suggestion I went with was much too short a time, but I rolled with it and it looks good now.

The whole time I was outside, I had this cat up at the top of a tree eyeing me.

He or she was sitting in that spot when I first went out to turn on the grill, and he or she was still there when I packed up and went back inside about half an hour later.

You could say that he or she was watching me… watching me like a hawk.

Cold… Again… As Usual

It is 81 degrees out here in Westwood, MA.

I am sitting at my desk, shivering with cold.

Effing air conditioned nightmare*

Here’s a cat to make us all feel better about how cold it is in the office.
