Three things to note in this picture.
First, the huge van in the driveway is going to move Harry’s furniture up to Vermont a couple of days from now.
Second, the work crew was fixing a storm drain that had turned into the deepest pothole in the known universe. It’s all filled in now, and all of our car tires are thankful.
Third, can you see the house in the distance with the roofers? They tore off the roof, down to the plywood, and replaced the whole thing in one morning. One morning!
This weeks rental truck for the move up to Burlington, VT is free from the tyranny of a rear view mirror*.
*there are side mirrors, of course, and a teeny tiny back up camera display. No word on Apple CarPlay though. Fingers enthusiastically crossed on that one.
We all see it! Why can’t you! There isn’t enough room on the cat tree for both of you!
Lots of hanging around and watching the cats today. Hope you’re okay with that because that’s what’s happening.

I drove to Market Basket and back. I took the long way around and listened to Supper’s Ready all the way through. That reminded me that Peter Gabriel is coming to Boston in September, and Steve Hackett is coming in October. Also, Steve Hackett is supposed to be playing the Foxtrot album in it’s entirety, which means he’s going to play Supper’s Ready, which means I HAVE to be there. I have to see at least one member of Genesis play that perfect piece of music, all 23 minutes of it, live at least once before I die. I have to.
It’s gorgeous outside today and Robin is loving the breeze and the view. Expect more pictures like this today.
Extreme laziness. I love it.
I didn’t eat the whole thing (the patty was 3.8 ounces and I ate 3.3) but I consider this a huge success.
