I mentioned earlier today that the cats rarely come and visit me during the work day. Now here we see Robin the Cat came to visit me for a second time. I think she came into the room because Jen was in the room visiting me. The cat wasn’t interested in me at all, she wanted some attention from Jen. I think I’ve solved this riddle.

Morning Cats
The cats don’t tend to visit me while I am working, but for some reason they did today. Maybe they know I am in my step son’s bed room and he’s flying home from the UK today. He is currently in the air, on his way to London to grab a connecting flight to Boston. Can the cats sense that?
Anyway, I took some pic because that’s what I do.
Lily promised me she wasn’t the one who messes with the plant clipping I wrote about yesterday.
Yeah, whatever you say, feline. Whatever you say.
Two Cats
One cat is not hiding…
The other cat is hiding (can you see her?)…

Roots
I took a new clipping of the plant we grew from a clipping from the plant that Bellana grew from a clipping from her step mother’s plant. It’s been sitting in water near a window for weeks and the cats have been terrorizing it. They drink the water, they knock the clipping out of the glass. It’s terrible. I assumed the attempt was going to fail, but I didn’t throw it out. I just left the glass of water with the clipping by the window. Two days ago I checked it after neglecting it for almost a week and there are two new roots sprouting off of it! Success!
I just ordered some potting soil and a little pot. Hopefully it survives long enough for them both to get here so I can pot this babie!
She Misses the Kids
Is Lily trying to tell us that she misses my step kids?
And yes, there are two copies of the same picture (from 2007), one on either side of her.

Lunch Time
Robin is hanging out with me while I eat lunch and watch today’s new episode of Constellation. No idea where Lily is. She’s most likely hiding in Harry’s closet.
She Looks Like I Feel
I’d really like to go to sleep for a while, but I can’t seem to make it happen. I’m pretty sure sleeping is the only thing that’s going to get me over this cold, but so far I’ve got nothing.
Prep for Spring
The three birdhouses are cleaned out and hung on a tree that isn’t too close to the house so hopefully they will all attract a family this year.
In other news, my wife was sick with a nasty cold all last week. Today, while sitting in the Logan Airport Terminal B baggage claim number 10, waiting for my step daughter’s plane to land, I thought to myself… huh… is that a sore throat? Now here we are seven hours later and I feel like garbage. It’s my turn with the nasty cold.
Shit.
