Two Amps

None of it is actually hooked up yet, but once 50/90 starts up my demos will once again include a two amplifier rig. I did this for RPM back in February and it was sweet. This time it’s two 15 watt amps. I’m looking forward to working with this set up.

The Amp is Here… Mostly

My new (used) amp was delivered today. It was eight days late, but it’s here…. sort of.

It’s hard to tell with a closed back cabinet, but it looks like the vacuum tubes survived the ordeal. Do they work? That’s the question.

Why is that still a question, you ask?

Because guitar center failed to include a power cable in the shipment.

There will probably be a post discussing the power cable situation but (spoiler) I need to calm down first.

Guess Who Hasn’t Shown Up

It’s been 8.5 hours since my package was put into Out for Delivery status. A full business day.

Guess what isn’t here.

Go on.

Guess.

We did get a package from Amazon today. I didn’t see it. If I find out it came in a UPS truck I am going to be steaming mad. Jen has a couple of packages that are supposed to be delivered today and they aren’t here. I got a text from Fed Ex saying I was supposed to get something today and it’s not here.

I don’t want to start taking this personally, but I might need to.

Give me my stuff.

Best Outfield Ever

Fred Lynn just liked one of my tweets. Eight year old me just pissed his pants with glee.

Lynn posted a picture of himself along with Jim Rice and Dwight Evans back in their Red Sox days. The caption was something about them being one of the greatest outfields in baseball history.

My reply was something along the lines of, had Rice and Evans stayed in the clubhouse it still would have been the best outfield ever. Mr Fred Lynn threw me a like for that. Color me honored.

To this day, Fred Lynn is the best centerfielder I have ever had the pleasure of watching. Jackie Bradley is close defensively, but Lynn also hit a ton. Bradley can’t match him at the plate. Lynn was the best. He still is.

I’ll give you Ken Griffey, JR. I’ll take Fred Lynn.

Lights and Music

We rebuilt all of our smart lights in the app today so that we could move some of them around. Now we’re just hanging out In the living room listening to Abby Road (over Sonos, not vinyl) and being exhausted from a crazy busy day.
