Awards Night

Harry’s school’s award night was tonight. It was a YouTube steam. Harry got an award. It wasn’t as exciting as winning an award in front of a full auditorium, but it’s still awesome and I applauded.

Congratulations, Harry! We are so proud. Even Patches is proud.

Home

Bellana is all moved in. Her dad is bringing a few things up next weekend, but for now she’s there and most of her stuff is there and her roommates are there and everything is good. She has a new apartment, now she needs to transform it into a home.

Jen and I left Burlington around 4:00pm, maybe more like 5:00? I’m not sure. We chose to take the scenic route home which somehow led us to NH route 9 which is so winding that I’m sure we drove in a spiral at least twice, and it’s so badly lit (just some reflectors on one side and some reflective yellow paint) that I’m positive we were underground for at least 15 of the 40 miles.

We are home now. We are exhausted, proud, excited to see what comes next, but still a smidge sad.

Congratulations, Bellana.

Now it’s time to shift our focus to Harry who is graduating from high school in less than two weeks. I’m so proud I might pop like an over-proud balloon!

Time for Overtime!

The Bruins were down 3-2 late in the third. I forgot that my CPAP machine was still in the trunk of the Kia. I went out to get it, came back in and hooked it up, and in that short space of time the Bruins tied the game at three and sent it to overtime!

The mighty CPAP demands that the Bruins win this game in the first OT period. They demand it!

Not According to Plan

The Bruins are losing 2-1 late in the second. That is bad.

The Leafs are losing 2-0 midway through the third. That is also bad.

Both of my picks are losing and also the team I hate the most in all of hockeydom is winning.

Shit. Double shit.
