Overnight

Jen and I spent the night in mom’s hospital room. We both slept a little but not too much. There was no real change in mom’s condition other than she actually seems to have fallen asleep, and that has slowed down her breathing rate.

My sister is planning on getting here around 8:00. We will go home when she gets here, check in briefly with work, check on our pair of cats who don’t like each other very much, and then sleep for a while before heading back to the hospital.

Disney Bikes

I wrote before about a pair of bikes I saw in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. They were leaning against a building and I took a picture on film. Later I saw what I thought were the same two bikes in a different location and took a digital picture.

I needed to see the film to answer the burning questions. Was I mistaken and they were different bikes? Were they the same bikes and I was mistaken about the different locations? Did I screw up the film shots and end up with an illegible blob of gross on the film?

Let us answer these questions at last!

Thoughts… not Yet

I want to write down what’s going on with my mother. Not for anyone else, just for me. I don’t need/want/care if anyone reads it, I just want to have it saved here with everything else.

I’ll do it today, but not right now. Have some cat pictures in the meantime.

I got the color film scans back yesterday. It is probably going to take a while to get them all uploaded to Flickr, but most of the spot checks so far have looked okay. Here’s one from our quick stop at Daytona Beach.
