Nothing. No progress. No advances. No music. I thought about it a lot, but I didn’t have time or energy or ambition to do anything.

I expect similar results today.

  1. I find that, without a specific purpose, say, writing a birthday song for a family member, I can’t even…Just because it’s national “everybody’s-doing-it-month” is too abstract. You know if you write that birthday song it’s probably going to be appreciated by at least one person.
