We’ve taken the ferry from Plattsburgh NY to Grand Isle VT on our various motorcycle rides around the eastern states. We took this shorter ferry because one of our travel companions would get “sea sick” and to get back on his motorcycle would be tricky! The time we traveled from Maine to Nova Scotia he had to take medication that knocked him out for many hours.
