I did some more car music today. I drove to a not-quite-as-empty-as-I-would-have-liked parking lot in town and sat in the car recording vocal tracks. I got through five songs. Every song in the 50 songs in 90 days pipeline that had lyrics but not vocals, now has vocals. Sweet.
Lily is not impressed with me at all.
Robin is so completely unimpressed that she barely acknowledges my existence.
I have finished two new songs tonight. I don’t know if I want to post them here or not. I probably will eventually.
For now though, how about a cat?
They don’t understand that they can’t fit on the top of the cat tree together anymore. They are both all grown up now.
They seem all calm and peaceful here, but a few minutes later they were starting to show signs of the zoomies. It hasn’t started yet, but at some point tonight they are going to go freakin’ insane and start bombing around the house like crazy wild animals.
She literally just said to me, “what are you looking at, loser?”
She’s so mean to me.
We’ve hit feline cuteness factor 10, Captain.
I had a co-worker visit me today to try and help me get through everything that needs to be gotten through.

Is the technical term for what Robin is doing on the day bed kneading bread dough or baking biscuits? I’ve never been sure which is correct.
Here comes the pain, folks. I am going to share one of my super lame songs. This is the first song finished for the 2024 50 songs in 90 days challenge. One down and 49 to go. I’ll do something nice to make this worth your while though, I promise.
First, here’s my shitty new song. It’s okay, I guess. The guitar playing is bad, especially the leads. The vocals are pretty terrible too. Oh well. It’s just supposed to be a demo, right?
Now to sweeten the pot, as it were. Cats. Two of them. I won’t be able to do this every time I finish a new song, but I’ll see what I can do.
