Everything at South of the Border was closed! We stopped in a parking lot and took a few pictures, just to say we’d finally stopped there.

Dirty Window
It was 6:30am. I was about to start my morning fake jog (yog) when I looked out the insanely dirty window and saw that the stormy looking sky through the trees looked super cool. In the four seconds it took to pick up my camera the cool sky went away and I was left with this awful picture through an unbelievably dirty window.
It was worth a shot, I guess.
So I had another migraine last night. I was trying to cook some spaghetti. I reached out to turn on the burner and realized I couldn’t see it. It wasn’t the center of my vision that was missing, it was the right side. Just gone. The headache hit me a few minutes later and it was pretty bad. I laid down a little after 6:00pm and didn’t get up again until about 9:30. My eyes were okay at that point but I still had a nasty headache. I went back to bed a short time later and didn’t wake up until almost 5:00am. There was still a mild headache but it seemed manageable. When I got up to exercise I took some Tylenol and now, an hour later, I am feeling okay.
That’s three migraines in two weeks. I’ll be calling my doctor on Monday. Enough is enough, folks. I’m pretty scared about all of this.
Pains
My stomach has been bothering me this morning, but I think it’s because it has been empty for a long time. I had breakfast very early. I had a snack at 11:15 and after a little while I felt better. That is so weird.
Anyway, here’s an unrelated picture. Photo a day photo #191/365.
New Sneakers Day
Yup. Now that my internet-purchased sneakers have arrived… they are pretty fugly.
They’re nice and comfy though. We’ll see how they feel through tomorrow’s faux jogging (yogging).
Stop Light Theater
Traffic wasn’t too bad this morning. I made it to work in just over an hour. Now we just have to deal with it until we can go back home where we belong again. Less than eight hours to go!
Time Lapse
It’s one of those days again. Get ready for another candle time lapse video.
Clock
Starting to get the film bug again. Just a little bit. As I wrote below I spent some time looking at cheap, used lenses yesterday. I have about half a roll of Fuji Superia 400 left in Dad’s camera. I’m thinking up next will be my last roll of black and white, Kentmere 100, in my camera but with Dad’s cheap-o zoom lens. We’ll see how all of those play together.
After that? Ebay? A 28mm or 35mm prime? A zoom that runs from something like 75-200mm? Something like that? No idea. We’ll see what happens… if anything happens. I want to get something nice and long for my Z5 as well. All of that without spending any money? Sure, right.
This clock belonged to my grandmother… I think. It might have been a great aunt or a great uncle. It doesn’t work but I hope to look into finding someone to fix it over the summer. We’ll see.
Ebay and I spent some time together yesterday looking at Nikkor ais lenses. Gear Acquisition Syndrome is starting to rear it’s ugly head again.
Cats on Film
I saw the cats sitting together on top of the cat tree so I grabbed the camera.
I took this with the mirrorless christmas camera, the Nikon Z5. I also took one with dad’s film camera. The two new cats have made their first appearance on film. Let me tell you, they almost jumped through the roof when the mechanical shutter clicked. What was that, kitties?
Helicopter Flare
I was trying to get the helicopter, but I got the huge flare instead. Nice job, JJ Abrams.
Feline Friends
Sorry for the barrage of cat pics tonight. It’s just one of those nights.
34 minutes until The Last of Us airs.
