It’s been like a whole minute since I’ve shown you Patches on the back of the couch.

There, you are all up to date now.

I took this picture this morning when I got out of bed. It was pretty much the first thing I did.
Okay, so I sat up, took off my CPAP mask, picked up my phone, checked my sleep stats (they were bad), and took this pic.
So technically it was the fifth thing I did today, but you can dig where I’m coming from, right?

Jen purposely left her PJ’s drawer open in the hopes that Patches would go exploring. She did.
We act like it’s my desk but we all know the truth. It’s hers.

Patches took this. I helped a little, but she totally took it.*
*No she didn’t.
Harry spent some time hanging out with me this afternoon while I worked. Little did I know, but Patches the Mighty Cat was in the room with us the whole time!

Tuukka Rask returned to the Bruins tonight and beat the Flyers 3-2. Pastrnak scored all three goals. A hat trick for Pasta tonight after a hat trick for Marchand last night. Sweetness all around.
Note to self: you opened a new jug of distilled water for the CPAP machine’s humidifier tonight. Try and keep track of how long it lasts, for future reference and stuff.
Patches is fully back to normal tonight. We can tell because she puked 17 pounds of partially eaten cat food onto Jen’s desk. Right as rain, feline.
I’m sitting up in bed for a little while. Should I rewatch episode 3 of The Book of Boba Fett or should I watch the first episode of The Peacemaker. Or should I just sleep.
You’re right. Sleep it is.
Possible car music in the morning. We will see when the morning gets here.
Are we over yesterday? I think so.

I think patches has forgiven us for the ordeal she experienced today.

We are home. Patches is out of the cat carrier. She is hiding somewhere and she wants nothing to do with me for a while. She did let us pet her a little before she ran off, so there’s no hard feelings toward the gestapo fat ass who jailed her for almost two hours.
Clean bill of health. She’s fine. Nothing wrong apart from being old. She’s around 14 years old, we think, so it’s natural that she’d be slowing down. No joint issues, no vision issues, no obvious pain. She’s all good.
Good job, my brave little kitty. Sorry about the whole locking you in a cage thing. Meow.
