Empty

Patches’ food bowl was about 40% full, but there was one little spot where you could see all the way down to the bottom of the bowl.

Because of this, she’s been in a panic over her imminent starvation and has been sitting at my feet and meowing at about 98 decibels all afternoon.

I filled her bowl so now she’ll ignore me for a day or two. Cats… ya love ‘em, right?

Upgraded Again

Jen brought a whole bunch of stuff over to the conference call nook and upgraded it again.

233/365 - The updated conference call nook.

It needs one more change because the “o” key on that keyboard is wonky.  I’ll swap it out for the keyboard hidden off to the right at some point tonight.  I stole that headset from Jen because she wasn’t using it.  The postman just delivered another one.  Almost as soon as I stole it she decided she wanted it back but she was still nice enough to let me keep it.

I expect that I’ll be the one using this desk, but it’s just a laptop dock so Jen can use it if she needs it.  The kids too.  We’re all set up.

Screen

When we had our garage remodeled into a bedroom suite the only thing we didn’t get installed were screens for the new windows. That means we went the whole of last summer without being able to sleep with the windows open.

Eventually we will get screens installed, but as a temporary fix, I bought a couple of these things on amazon (the one and only non-food purchase I’ve made since the social distancing started. I’m kinda proud of my sudden frugalness).

I told my wife I’d clean the bathroom but I’m sitting here listening to the Jakszyk/Collins/Fripp King Crimson Projekct album and typing this.

Jen: No worries, love. I’m getting to it now. I LOVE YOU!!

The Stir Crazy Files – Episode 21

Untitled

Has the human race ever produced a tool as useless as the scissors in a Swiss Army style pocket knife?

Seriously, I’ve seen wet noodles* do a better job scissoring things than these scissors scissor things.

*I actually haven’t.  I wrote that as more of an exaggerated expression to illustrate my point.  I wasn’t lying to you.  I was using a metaphorical type thingie.  Really.  I promise.

All Done With That

All of my April rhythm guitar parts are done, including a bonus 11th song that I started at 3:30am today when I was too pissed off at facebook to sleep.

I wonder… if I stop taking pictures of whatever guitar I am playing every time I play, would the world go back to normal?  Is all of this my fault somehow?
