The Waiting Room

You should listen to the Genesis song called The Waiting Room while you read this post. Actually, maybe you shouldn’t. It’s an atonal noise-fest and it might scare you off. Listen to Firth of Fifth instead. It’s not related at all, it’s just magic.

My weight on the scale here was 291.6. About four pounds higher than last week’s weigh in at home. I blame my shoes and my wallet and my keys and my phone. Yup. They also said my blood pressure was a smidge low. We will have to keep an eye on that, I think.

Flickr Explore

Remember this silly little iPhone snap that I posted on Friday as I was walking in to the hospital to see my father?

It made Flickr’s Explore yesterday. Thousands of views, one hundred likes, 10 comments (which is 10 more than I usually get).

Hehehe.

It figures that the pic I took with my phone without giving it any thought at all would make Explore while the pics I’ve been taking with my DSLR and actually thinking through ahead of time are passed over. I don’t mind though.

I think this is my 10th time making Explore… I think. I’ve been trying since 2009.

Nerd.

Drug Store Blues

I was going to take this with my point and shoot but the memory card is still in my laptop’s card reader from the last time I unloaded it, about an hour ago. Moron.

Anyway, the Walgreens on Jackson Street has a photo department. I’ll check it out after the Covid Booster/ Flu shot vaccination bonanza.
