I answered today’s daily writing prompt this morning before work, as I normally do. Now I am going back to it with a second post. This isn’t really about writing, it’s just an excuse to post pictures.
What is good about having a pet?
The answer is simple: Cuteness overload.
I mean, really… what more do you need? Go adopt a cat or two. Or three. Meow, babie.
I went to the drugstore today and got myself a couple of vaccine shots. I got a flu vaccine and a shingles vaccine. I’m still not far enough removed from my Covid-19/Disney World experience to need a Covid booster, so I’ll probably get one of those next month.
I drove through downtown so here is the obligatory clock/downtown pics. You’re welcome.
On an unrelated note, the guitar shop posted some more photos of my guitar today. I think it’s done. New bridge, new frets, new nut. Here’s hoping I get another phone call from them tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
You had a candle burning in the living room? Are you insane? Who are you?
I took these this morning. I was going to share them at the time but I was too busy doing other stuff.
Hipstamatic, hipsta-kitties. Shake to shuffle.
I couldn’t resist. They look so cute wedging themselves into that little space that is way too small for both of them. Five seconds after I took the last of these pictures they started fighting and looked like they were trying to decapitate each other. Yeah, welcome to our cats’ lives.
It’s lunch time. I am running two culinary experiments today.
One: I cooked a hamburger in the air fryer.
Two: Sugar free ketchup. Yeah, you read that right.
Short term results. First, the hamburger is SUPER greasy. That’s a surprise. Second, the sugar free ketchup sort of tastes like ketchup. Again, surprise. It’s only been a couple of bites but so far it’s not disgusting. Shocking.
There was a delivery guy outside when I took these two cat pictures. Robin was fascinated and stared at the guy the whole time he was near the window. Lily couldn’t have cared less. Those are pretty accurate summations of their personalities right there.
