Can I Fix a Disaster?
After messing with Lightroom on my iPhone yesterday I posed a question to myself: Can I use Lightroom to fix a disaster? The answer is a resounding no, though maybe if I actually knew what I was doing I could have better results.
Here is a terrible shot from Epcot Center:
Yet another clock picture. The camera was in aperture priority mode (what the Nikon FG-20 actually calls Auto mode) and clearly the light meter was looking at the sky and not the foreground. Oh well.

I mean, I guess it’s a success as you can see the things that were buried in shadow, but it’s a fail in that they just look ridiculously awful. If I knew what I was doing, would I have done better? Probably not. The picture was a disaster after all…

The Monorail
The one film shot of the Monorail that I managed to get at Epcot came out 100% better than any of the digital monorail shots I got. Oh yeah.
Florida Recap Post – The Ninth
It’s been a while, but here’s some more Florida! Still waiting for the film to come back. I was hoping I’d have the scans today but maybe tomorrow? We’ll see. These are from our full day at Epcot. Most of which was spent in the World Showcase. There was talk of drinking around the world, but a stomach bug got in the way of that plan.
We were going to stay for the fireworks but it was friggin’ cold. Bellana stuck it out, but the rest of us bolted.
Florida Recap Post – The First
I know I posted a few pictures of the trip here and there while we were still in Florida, but I did it sort of haphazardly and I really don’t recall what was or was not posted… so here’s the first post-trip recap post and there is a good chance that I’ve already shared a lot of this.
The first post will be our first evening in Epcot’s World Showcase. We rode the new Remy ride in France and as a result we spent a ton of time in that country, and all of the digital pics were taken there. I think most if not all of the film pics were in France too.

I think the next post will be from Animal Kingdom, but who knows.
