I just had a sudden need to try and remember how many of the Great Lakes I’ve visited.

Is that it? I think so. I was thinking there might have been one more, but I can’t recall which one or when I would have been there.

Of course, being a New Englander I feel that Lake Champlain should be included in the list of Great Lakes… but I think we’re losing that battle.

Waterfalls

I’m really hoping to get up to the White Mountains for some waterfall visits. With all the snow this winter, the rivers should be rocking like mad right now.

Birds: Time for a Change

I want to make changes to the bird feeder situation this year. I’m thinking of looking into getting a much taller pole to hang it from so that the deer can’t reach it, and to put a squirrel baffle thingie on it to at least slow those bastards down a little. If it happens, there will be pictures. Lots of them.

So Many Options

Band practice may be moving from Sunday night to Sunday morning this week. Should I play my Les Paul again or should I switch to the ES-335 for the day? It is so damn weird having this many options!

Found It

I figured out where the water in the woods behind the house is coming from. There’s a drain that runs from the street. And I thought it was a little river coming down the hill. I’ll get a pic one of these days. It was a little disappointing, but what can you do.

Post Formats

Standard format posts won’t full screen, but image format posts will. Looks like it will only take one image in a post though. Can I use two images in an image post? What about Gallery posts?

Nope, one per post for image and gallery looks exactly like standard. At least when pulling images from the web. It’s probably different for images uploaded to the wordpress.com account.

Oh well. My kingdom for full screen. Ello does it. Medium does it. What the hell is wordpress.com’s problem?

Full Screen at Last?

The demo for this wordpress.com theme had full screen images in it. Does it work for me?

Turkey for Easter?

In my experience, most people serve ham for their easter sunday dinner. I guess that’s why those four turkeys felt safe wandering through our neighborhood today.
