Mental Health Break

I played guitar today. I worked on two songs. I used the direct out and cabinet sims off of two amps, which broke my amps and speakers rule for the re-recording project, but I didn’t wake Harry so that was worth it.

I played like dog shit, but I played and that’s what matters. I needed it. I have more to do so I might sneak some more playing in later today.

Sigh of relief.

Photo a Day: Mirror Universe Style

Yesterday’s photo a day post was a bunch of shake to shuffle Hipstamatic pics of Robin the cat sitting on top of the cat tree in the living room.

Today is the mirror universe version of that post. It’s a bunch of shake to shuffle Hipstamatic pics of Lily the cat sitting on top of the cat tree in the living room.

Creativity runs deep ’round these parts.

Wasn’t that fun? Sure was!

Cat Pic

Here’s a cat pic to celebrate the day after xmas. Santa Claus brought me a new Apple Watch. I’m trying to set it up but, as is often the case with new Apple Watches, it is being a pain in the ass. It’s all set now, but it unpaired itself a couple of times before it started to cooperate. Now I just have to wait for the battery to charge up a bit.

I Played Guitar Today!

Oh thank heavens, I played some guitar today. I worked on two songs for Record Every Month. My finger tips are sore as hell, but I played my Les Paul Custom with the new frets and it felt really good. Really good.

I seriously over did the obligatory pics.

I Would Rather Be At Home

I am working in the office. I think I mentioned that once or twice (or 50) times today. I would much rather be working from home. I miss Jen. I miss my new desk (I am working in a conference room with two staff members. It’s fine, but my desk is mine… and new… and mine). I miss my cats, even though they generally sleep their way through the work day.

The office isn’t so bad, but home is better.

I took these two pictures before I left the house this morning.
