iOS Journal App: Post Number 23

Today’s haiku is brought to you by the Lifetime television network.
Married at First Sight.
Where do they find these people?
I mean like… wow, right?
My wife’s current project focus has been on building manual keyboards. Today I was drafted to help.
Success.
This one is going to need a list, babie! Here we go!
My potential billboard messages would include the following…
Okay… 18 potential billboards written out in about five minutes, all off the top of my head. I could probably come up with 100 more if I spent a little time thinking about it. No, we’ll stop here. Maybe I’ll add a second post with more later (but probably not).
Enjoy, my gentle readers and only friends.*
*I am not sure when I combined Stephen King’s “gentle readers” line with A Clockwork Orange’s, “oh my brothers and only friends” but it’s sort of working for me.

The Smashing Pumpkins put out a call for a new guitar player. They are asking for resumes.
Should I send one?
Today’s haiku for you is brought to you by my own little sliver of mental healthcare.
If I cannot play,
My guitar any time soon,
I might lose my shit.
WordPress.com let us know via email last night that there is now an AI Assistant available in the blog post editor. At least if you are using the Block Editor format. I don’t know if it’s there if you’re writing HTML code or anything else, but if you’re using blocks you can add an AI Assistant block and ask it to do stuff for you.
For example, I asked the AI Assistant to write a paragraph about using AI to write a blog post and it came up with this absolute fucking masterpiece:
AI has revolutionized the way we approach content creation, offering unprecedented efficiency and creativity. By harnessing the power of advanced algorithms, AI can rapidly generate compelling blog posts on a diverse range of topics, tailored to specific audiences. Moreover, it can analyze trends and audience engagement to optimize content, enhancing its impact. While AI streamlines the writing process, it also empowers human creators by providing valuable insights and freeing up time for strategic thinking and ideation. Embracing AI in blog writing opens up exciting possibilities for innovation and scalability in the ever-evolving digital landscape.
How cool is that? Now I don’t have to go to Google Bard or Chat GPT when I want to add something fucking stupid to my already lame-ass blog posts. Hurrah!
Neither?
Both?
I honestly don’t know. Maybe I just hyper focus on the present? I am not in a sharing mood again (shocking) so I am not going into details, but while I do often find myself thinking of the past (both recent and distant) and I often find myself thinking of the future (both near and far), I think I spend most of my time stuck right in the present.
At the same time though… maybe I don’t do any of that. Maybe I just don’t pay enough attention to my mind wandering through time to be cognizant* of where it spends most of it’s time travelin’ time.
Will I pay more attention to this question in the future?
Probably not.
*Pompous ass, Robbie and his $0.10 words. You’re welcome.
