Softball

We are at softball tryouts. I’m surrounded by New Hampshire people. You know the ones who make fun of the Massachusetts income tax and then bitch like they are being ass raped when they are asked to pay for their kids’ school supplies. Those New Hampshire folks. I’m not talking about all of the people here, but there are always some.

I brought this book to read as a sort of anti-snob talisman. Let’s hope it works.

Clinched

The Bruins won their 11th game in a row last night when their back up goalie shut out Colorado 2-0. I missed most of the game. I don’t know if Jarome Iginla scored another goal or not. Their win also made them the first team in the NHL to clinch a spot in the playoffs.

In unrelated hockey news, my alma mater, UMass Lowell, advanced to the Hockey East finals last night by beating Notre Dame. Just think… If the son of a bitch athletic director hadn’t tried to sell our radio station out from under us I might actually care. I might have followed my old school over the last ten years. I might have even realized that Notre Dame was part of Hockey East.

I hope UMass Lowell does well, but I hope the athletic director gets fired more.

Sunrise Bug… Again

Late last Summer, and into early Fall, I had this really nasty bug. It was the go to the ocean and take pics of the sunrise bug. I finally did it in late September. I went to Salisbury Beach and got my pics. I was pleased.

I’m getting the same bug again. This time Hampton Beach is calling me. The weather had better warm up soon.

Hurry up, weather! Jerk.
