Just after I stopped this we saw the results of a terrible accident on the Southbound side of route 95. Hopefully everyone is okay…. But it sure doesn’t look like that will be the case.

The traffic in both Virginia and Maryland has been a complete nightmare. We’ve gone about 200 miles but should have been able to go twice that in the time we’ve been on the road today. The gridlock is just endless.

Back on the road, South of Richmond…

…and back on a breakfast date, North of Richmond.

15 years ago today we were on the first day of our honeymoon, in Woodstock, VT.

Today we are somewhere in Virginia having a dinner date. It was a good day 15 years ago. It’s a good day, today.

The trip home is taking longer than the trip down, but we have made it to Virginia in one piece.

Hopefully the restaurant in the hotel is decent.

Jen is driving for a little while so I took a time lapse of a random stretch of route 95 somewhere in North Carolina.

Stopping for some automotive maintenance in Georgia. There is nothing wrong, just having our tires checked out before we go much further.
