I’m able to pop out the battery from both pocket watches now. Cool. They look like the same battery but the numbers are different. Does that mean anything? Does it matter? Do I care?
New batteries have been ordered from the amazon jungle store.

I have two pocket watches.
The one on the left is a cheap souvenir from Kennedy Space Center. The one on the right is a super nice watch that was a gift from my brother for being his best man.
They both need a battery. I’ve figured out how to pop the backs off of both of them, and I figured out how to get at the battery in the cheap guy but not quite on the nice guy. I don’t have batteries either. Also, I don’t have any actual need to get these kids up and running.
I’m going to do it though. Not today, but soon.
Patches has no interest in anything we watch on tv. I wonder if we watched something about cats would she pay attention?

The work day candles are still a regular part of the lock down work from home process. At least until we run out of them.

There was guitar playing tonight. Bad, bad guitar playing, and not in the ironic use of the word bad. Bad in the literal sense.

This was very nearly my temporary AppleWatch substitute. Just thought you all should know just how high tech I can be.
Back in the before time, in the long long ago… I used to play baseball here.
Correction: The team I was on played baseball. I played a pathetically unskilled, downright poor facsimile* of baseball.
*I am literally in a state of shock. I spelled facsimile correctly on the first try. No spell check needed. In the immortal words of Luke Skywalker, I… I don’t believe it.
Addendum: Also, you got the Rick and Morty reference, right? I hope so.
I dropped off my AppleWatch at a FedEx drop box and picked up my parents’ laundry. It’s always nice to go for a drive through town.

I promise I’m not going to buy anymore guitar gear for the foreseeable future.
This was the last…. for now.

I did some car music this morning. Nothing terribly good, but it’ll hopefully do.
