Curtains hung with minimal physical injuries. The mental injuries though… endless.

The brackets were a bitch. The rest was simple as can be. My arms are killing me.

To quote the wise sage Homer Simpson…
Urge to kill rising… rising… rising…

The lights in the office are on a motion sensor. If the three people sitting in this area fail to stand up at regular intervals the lights shut off.
They shut off during a video conference today. That was good for a chuckle.

We dipped our toes into a non-locked down world. We went to a store. Not just any store but the biggest, roomiest, most social distance friendly store there is. We also went when we knew it would be as close to dead as it gets.
Still…
We went to IKEA.

Dig our crazy daring-do.
The Bruins just beat Tampa Bay. 3-2. Pastrnak scored all three goals.
I’m looking at the standings and I’m doing some hockey math. I think this means the Bruins passed the Lightning in the standings too. Am I wrong or did we just jump from the first wild card to third in the Atlantic? It also means we are tied with Toronto for second.
I really hope I’m good at math.
I just did two things for the first time.
I made lunch on our new kitchen counter.
I put a dirty dish into our new sink.
Welcome to the new world, babie
Our kitchen sink works again. It’s glorious!
Oh, and you can bet your sweet ass I had the dishwasher running before the plumber had even backed out of the driveway.

After stress-filled work followed by stress-filled* hospital visit followed by stress-filled start to putting the kitchen and dining room back together, I have only managed 11 minutes of exercise today.
My back is killing me and I don’t know how I’m going to finish before I keel over…
…but I’ll get it done. Somehow. Bet on it.
*The hospital trip wasn’t nearly as bad as it could have been. I got there at 1:00pm and she was discharged by 3:00. Most of the time in between she was snoozing. My sister and brother both had a rough time on their days and my day was easy in comparison. It’s not fair, but I do appreciate what they did. Always.
