So the cats were down in the cellar. We heard a ton of noise coming from down there. I went to investigate. They had climbed up onto the central air ducts and were running around up there.
Woah… bad kitties. No more cellar for those two.

Tenney Castle Ruins
This is dad’s Pentax K1000 with his cheap Gemini zoom lens. The next roll I shoot with my Nikon FG-20 will use this lens via an adapter. I don’t think the lens is all that great, and it’s tough to use and keep in focus, but I want to do the experiment and see how it goes. Research, babie!
Sick
I woke up sick this morning. Major stomach pain, gas, and nausea. I feel really bad. I called in sick to work. I have a couple of meetings I still want to sit in on, but outside of that I’m sitting on the couch feeling gross.
I’ve only managed eight ounces of liquid so far today (it’s 12:40pm) but it hasn’t helped settle my stomach. I haven’t managed any food yet but I’m going to try a tiny little protein bar and see what happens.

Red Sox Win
The Red Sox were down by one run with two outs in the bottom of the ninth. A lazy fly to left should have ended the game, but the left fielder pulled an epic klutz and dropped it. It popped right out of his glove, putting the tying run on and keeping the Sox alive.

Today’s Hello Fresh meal included a quinoa side dish.
It was my first bite of quinoa since the surgery. It’s been almost 11 months. After having a plate full of it 3-4 times a week (at least), I have returned to the land of the quinoa…
…and it was delicious.
