Stressing Out

Work is stressing me out like mad today. I don’t know why. I have half a mind to crawl under my desk and hide until 5:30. I won’t, obviously, but… damn.

The upside is that the Bruins have a 1:00pm game which is about to start. Good! Unfortunately they are playing Florida… again… ugh. I hate the Florida Panthers. I hate that we can’t seem to beat them anymore. I am also just really tired of playing them all the time. Can we get someone else in here for a game instead?

Hopefully the Bruins will win big and it will calm my stressed out brain a little bit. We’ll see.

Holiday: But Not For Me

Today is the day that used to be known as columbus day, before those of us who actually care about other people decided that chris columbus was a dick and giving him a holiday was in bad taste. Now it’s Indigenous Peoples Day and I much prefer the sound of that.

Unfortunately, it’s not a holiday for me. I have to work. Worse, I have to work in the office. Worse than worse, I have a 9:00 meeting. I left home super early out of fear that traffic would make me late for the meeting. I completely forgot that most of Massachusetts is off work today and there was so little traffic that I was in the parking lot over an hour early.

Oops. At least I won’t be late for the 9:00am meeting, right?

Happy Indigenous Peoples day to all who celebrate. Also, chris columbus was a dick who “discovered America” through nothing more than incompetence. Let’s not give him any more holidays.

New York Blues

I love me some major league baseball, especially during the playoffs.

Unfortunately, there are major league baseball teams in New York and, as a Boston fan, New York sucks ass.

This year is kinda hell for me. In the American League Championship series we have Cleveland (good) vs the fucking New York Yankees. The one team I hate more than all other sports teams that I hate combined.

Over in the National League Championship series we have a double kick in the New York hating nuts. The Mets, the other current New York team that I hate with a burning passion, and the Dodgers, a team that isn’t from New York but used to be.

There are four teams left. Two are from New York, one used to be from New York, and the other is Cleveland.

Lets go… (sigh of frustration) Cleveland.

Bruins Beat the Kings in OT

I promise I won’t post highlights from every Bruins game. It’s just that the season is brand new and I am kinda psyched to have hockey back.

I watched a chunk of the second period yesterday, but somehow missed both goals. I didn’t see the third or the overtime at all.

This Morning’s Photo Adventure Part 3/3

I headed in the direction of home… south. I stopped at a little marina type place right across the water from the Seabrook Nuclear Power Plant. At this point in time I am not glowing in the dark.

And this is the point where I realized that my ISO was set to 1600. I changed it to 100 but I was almost done for the day so there aren’t many low ISO pics. Oh well.

And there we have it. All of the pics (well, most of them at least) from my morning photo fun experience at the ocean. I shot a whole roll of film to go along with all of this. Maybe I’ll get it developed at some future date in 2025 or something.
